Post-Digital New Media Artist

I am an art scholar, educator, and artist. In 2019 I became a full-time digital artist, combining my abstract art with photographic elements in digital collage compositions.  In 2024 I started creating animated abstract videos, hoping to entices passive spectators to be active agents in dialogue with the artwork. I have presented papers and exhibited internationally, where my works and essays have been published in textbooks. Two of my abstract comics books are on sale at Printed Matter in New York. I have also undertaken public art commissions and exhibited in local galleries. I am the secretary for the Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance, supporting regional creatives.
